Philip Kennedy

Philip Kennedy is an educator, writer, and illustrator living and working in Dublin. Currently, he is a Lecturer at Ireland's National College of Art & Design, where he leads the BA Illustration course. He has a strong commitment to scholarly research and a particular interest in exploring the role of research in contemporary illustration practice.
As an educator, he has worked for several organisations, developing and delivering workshops for children, teens and adults. Originally a student of Fine Art & Art History, he completed an MA in Illustration in 2014. He writes frequently about the history of illustration and continues to work as an illustrator, where he enjoys collaborating on cultural, educational and not-for-profit work.
